Osteoporosis Classes
Osteoporosis Classes are for all who have been diagnosed with or feel they are at risk of osteoporosis or osteopenia. The classes focus on posture, balance and strengthening exercises to improve bone density and reduce the risk of fractures. There is a maximum of 8 participants per class to allow for exercises to be tailored to each individual. They are suitable for all levels of fitness.
Pilates
Pilates is a moderate exercise suitable for everyone. It includes complete body strenghtening, postural awareness through a productive breathing pattern. It gives excellent results in strength, tone and is widely shown to reduce risk of injury. A world wide popular exercise for many reasons.

CLASS SCHEDULE We run a number of classes whose aim is to provide a supervised group environment for exercise and rehabilitation Posturehabilitation classes – how to gain and maintain neutral spine. Classes are 50 mins long and begin at 5 mins past the time given below. Tuesdays in Nemo Rangers Hurling and Football Club, Douglas: Beginners 5:30pm Intermediates 6:30pm Advanced 7:30pm Improvers 8:30pm Thursdays in the clinic on Patrick's Quay: Improvers 12:30pm Advanced Beginners 1:30pm InterAdvanced 6:05pm Pilates Classes - Patrick's Quay: Starting Wednesday the 12th January 2011.
